Gold price opens lower in Hong Kong

HONG KONG -- The gold price in Hong Kong went down HK$160 to open at HK$15,020 per tael on Monday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.
The price is equivalent to $1,625.80 a troy ounce, down $17.32 at the latest exchange rate of $1 against HK$7.755.
