BEIJING - Air China has announced it will offer nonstop flights between Beijing and Geneva four times a week from May 7 this year, in a latest move to expand its network in Europe.

The flight, operated with an Airbus A330-200, is scheduled to leave Beijing at 1:30 p.m. (Beijing time) and arrive at 6:25 p.m. (Geneva time) on the same day. The return flight is expected to take off from Geneva at 8:25 p.m. and arrive at Beijing Capital International Airport at 12:55 p.m. the next day.

The new service will bring the number of European destinations served by Air China, which includes cities such as Frankfurt, Munich, Dusseldorf, London, Paris, Stockholm, Milan, Rome and Madrid, to 12, said the airline's president, Cai Jianjiang.

The flight numbers of the Beijing-Geneva service will be CA861/862.
