Chinese stocks end higher on Tuesday

BEIJING - Chinese stocks continued to rise on Tuesday for the second trading day, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.53 percent, or 12.47 points, to end at 2,358.98.
The Shenzhen Component Index edged up 0.89 percent, or 85.74 points, to close at 9,704.66.
