Daniel Kirchert not joining Beijing Mercedes Benz

Daniel Kirchert is not joining Beijing Mercedes Benz Sales and Service Co Ltd, said sources close to the matter.
Kirchert, 40, served BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd as former senior vice-president of sales and marketing since 2007, and left the company in January.
Kirchert, who studied Chinese at Nanjing University in 1998 and 1999, can speak Chinese fluently. He joined BMW China Automotive's Beijing office in 2005 as the director of business development of the Greater China region.
Beijing Mercedes Benz Sales and Service is a joint venture established by Daimler Northeast Asia Ltd and BAIC Group in December 2012.
