Chinese liquor trusts may die after being hit by a plasticizer scandal, the China Economic Net reported on Monday.
The paper quoted a trust company consultant saying only three liquor trusts were issued in 2012 and, after the plasticizer scandal, the liquor trust plan will be affected badly, especially in liquor collection fund investment.
According to statistics from China Economic Net, the quantity of the liquor trust issued and fund raising was smaller than ever this year.
A total of seven liquor trust products exist in the market currently. There expected annual income is around 10 percent. There are four products to raise funds for liquor collection.
