Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Ltd, the city's bourse operator, is working with the Securities & Futures Commission to clarify and streamline listing requirements for overseas-based companies, spokesman Henry Law said by phone on Monday.
The bourse looks to provide a "disclosure-based approach to secondary listings of seasoned issuers from reputable overseas exchanges," Law said.
