HONG KONG -- Hong Kong stocks closed down 212.31 points, or 1.06 percent, at 19,887.78 on Wednesday.
Turnover totaled HK$39.46 billion compared with Tuesday's HK$42.97 billion ($1 equals to HK$7.76).
