Chinese stocks open lower Monday

BEIJING -- Chinese stocks opened lower Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.6 percent to open at 2,102.23.
The key Shanghai index fell below the psychological threshold of 2,100-point minutes after its opening.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.88 percent lower at 8,805.35.
