Chinese stocks open lower Monday

BEIJING -- Chinese stocks opened lower Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.17 percent to open at 2,129.15.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.24 percent lower at 9,055.12.
