Commercial Aircraft Corp of China Ltd said it is likely to announce new orders in October for its C919 jetliner, the nation's first large passenger plane.
The Shanghai-based Comac will not be announcing any contracts for the aircraft at this week's Farnborough air show, Tao Zhihui, general manager for international cooperation and supplier management, said on Tuesday in an interview.
The C919, which is leading China's challenge to Boeing Co and Airbus SAS, has so far attracted 280 orders, the executive said.
