Chinese solar energy firm enters Japan

SHIJIAZHUANG - China's solar energy company, Yingli Green Energy Holding Co Ltd said on Wednesday that it has established a regional headquarters in Japan.
The new establishment, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary named Yingli Green Energy Japan Corporation Ltd, is aimed at exploring Yingli's Southeast Asian market and at further promoting the brand's influence.
Yingli announced it had opened a regional headquarters in Singapore in April 2011.
The company has adopted a set of measures, including building a Hong Kong trading platform, to promote its products in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.
Yingli, a public company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, is one of the world's largest vertically integrated photovoltaic manufacturers.
Its products have been sold in countries including Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece, France, the Republic of Korea and the United States.
