Taiwan trade associations to establish mainland offices

BEIJING - Taiwan's economic and trade associations are expected to set up offices on the Chinese mainland, with "relevant regulations about to be released," a mainland official said Wednesday.
Fan Liqing, spokeswoman for the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office, made the statement at a press conference.
Fan said that the third regular meeting of the Cross-Straits Economic Cooperation Committee will be held in Taiwan in late April.
