Lenovo releases Intel-powered smart phone

Chinese computer technology corporation, Lenovo Group, and world leading chip maker, Intel Corp, released Wednesday the world’s first smart phone with an Intel platform at the 2012 Intel Developer Forum in Beijing.
The new model, named LePhone K800, is powered by the Intel "Medfield" processor and equipped with 32 nanometer technology.
Intel Executive Vice-President Sean Maloney said the processor technology will be upgraded to 22 nanometers next year.
The Intel Developer Forum is a gathering of technologists to discuss Intel products and products based around Intel products. It is held from April 11 to 12 in Beijing.
