BEIJING - China's top economic planning agency said Tuesday that prices of China-made automobiles fell slightly last month while those of imported vehicles rose.
Prices of domestically made autos in March fell 0.17 percent from February, and went down 1.26 percent from March last year, the Price Monitoring Center of the National Development and Reform Commission said.
Prices of domestically-produced passenger cars in March have fallen for three consecutive months, dropping by 1.7 percent from one year earlier, while prices of commercial vehicles decreased 0.55 percent year-on-year.
However, the center said prices of imported autos in March climbed from the previous month. Prices of imported sedans climbed 2.1 percent month-on-month, while those of imported sport utility vehicles edged up 0.38 percent from February.
