Vanke July property sales slightly up

China Vanke ,the country's largest property developer by revenue, said property sales for July were up slightly from a year earlier at 9.1 billion yuan ($1.4 billion), Reuters reported Thursday.

Vanke did not provide the actual growth rate for July sales. The company booked property sales of 8.84 billion yuan in July 2010, according to historical figures.

For the first seven months of the year, property sales rose 63.9 percent to 74.1 billion yuan, Vanke said in an emailed statement.
