66 more Taiwan goods banned

Another 66 products contaminated by an industrial chemical from Taiwan appear on a list of imports banned from the Chinese mainland, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said on Sunday.

The quality watchdog said in its latest release that the mainland would suspend imports of 924 kinds of products made by 276 companies.

The products include beverages, food products and food additives from Taiwan that are produced by companies suspected of using bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP).
