Henan to boost tea industry

Central China's Henan province plans to spend 9.86 billion yuan ($1.5 billion) to boost the development of its tea industry in the coming 10 years, according local government sources.

Henan expects that its tea industry will generate 23.4 billion yuan in output value in 2020, up from the current annual level of 8.1 billion yuan.
In 2010, Henan produced 42,000 tons of tea.
