'Cyber blue team' established to safeguard Internet security

BEIJING -- China is a victim of cyber attacks and "the cyber blue team" of the People's Liberation Army was established to better safeguard the Internet security of the armed forces, Defense ministry spokesperson Geng Yansheng said Wednesday.

Geng told a regular press briefing that Internet security has become an international problem, affecting both civil and military areas. China is still relatively weak in Internet security protection.
