China stocks close higher Wednesday

BEIJING - Chinese shares closed higher Wednesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 34.54 points, or 1.19 percent, to 2,930.8.
The Shenzhen Component Index climbed 160.43 points, or 1.26 percent, to 12,865.75 points.
