BEIJING - Xinhua News Agency launched an Internet search engine jointly with China Mobile on Tuesday.

The search engine, www.panguso.com, is expected to combine the advantages of Xinhua, a leading news agency and content provider, and China Mobile which has the latest network technologies, said Panguso, a joint venture of Xinhua and China Mobile, in a press release.

Panguso has designed an accurate search service of news, websites, images, videos and audio data, it said.

It will also expand the search service to cell phones.
