China's commitment to peacekeeping
May 29 is the International Day of UN Peacekeepers.
The official media platforms of the Ministry of National Defense of China, including its overseas social media account (@MND_China), released a bilingual short video today, China's Commitment to Peacekeeping, along with the following message:
"Peace represents the common aspiration and lofty goal of mankind. The UN peacekeeping operations are carried out and will continue for the sake of peace and have become an important approach to maintaining world peace and security. The peacekeeping operations have brought confidence to regions of conflict and hopes to the local people.
"On the International Day of UN Peacekeepers, we pay tribute to all peacekeepers for their service and sacrifice. China will continue to honor its commitments to peacekeeping."
