Launched on Jan 9, 2024, China's Tianguan satellite celebrates two years of stable operations and sustained science in orbit on Friday.
As a dedicated soft X-ray transient mission, Tianguan satellite, also known as Einstein Probe, is now an integral part of the global time-domain astronomy network, collaborating closely with observatories worldwide.
Powered by its unique lobster-eye focusing technology, Tianguan is opening a new window on the dynamic universe, detecting faint and fast-changing X-ray events that few missions can capture.
