National Security Law guards HKSAR
Wednesday marks the first anniversary of the Hong Kong Special Administration National Security Law.
There was a time when the flames of rioting were on the rise, with rioters armed with bows and arrows, and Molotov cocktails on the rampage.
Behind them were their bosses, politicians in the US that remotely controlled them like toys.
The National Security Law ended all their vicious schemes.
Benny Tai Yiu-ting, their “spiritual mentor”, was sentenced to custody.
The youngsters misled by him woke up and returned to school.
Jimmy Lai Chee-ying, who begged his US bosses for help, received his deserved legal penalty.
Joshua Wong Chi-fung was sentenced to imprisonment,
while his friend Nathan Law Kwun-chung fled to try and escape justice.
With the National Security Law as a solid support, the judiciary in Hong Kong is more confident in punishing the criminals in the riots,
while the riot has been pacified and will come back no more.
The sense of security means investors have regained their confidence in Hong Kong.
With the protection of the National Security Law, there is ample reason to believe that Hong Kong will have a bright future.
