Xi's diplomacy meets calligraphy in Shanghai exhibition

An exhibition of calligraphy works featuring President Xi Jinping's remarks on diplomacy was launched on Wednesday at Shanghai's Wu Changshuo Memorial Hall.

The exhibition – co-sponsored by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Pudong District People's Government, and Shanghai Calligraphers Association – features 61 works by renowned calligraphers in various writing styles.

The exhibition is defined by the highest level of calligraphy in today's Shanghai, according to event organizers.

The exhibition, which is free to the public, will last through Dec 27.
