Guy Thompson works on an unfinished porcelain vase in his studio in Jingdezhen, a city famous for ceramics in east China's Jiangxi Province, on Oct 23, 2018. A Londoner, Guy quitted his job from a world top company and moved to Jingdezhen from Singapore in 2012 to create with his friends a ceramic studio where they can launch new products under a high end brand. To combine the western aesthetics with Chinese exquisite techniques in their products, Guy, a PhD in physics, spent 3 years on study work to finalize the quality standard of the fragile utensils that has already gained markets on both Britain and China.
