LONDON, Nov. 15 -- British Prime Minister Theresa May on Thursday vowed to move on with her Brexit plan on the basis of the draft agreement between London and Brussels, saying that "the course I have set out is the right one."

The embattled prime minister, speaking at a press conference in her Downing Street office, said, "This is a Brexit that delivers on the priorities of the people."

"The British people just want us to move on with it," she said, referring to the efforts to deliver Brexit in March next year in accordance with the 2016 referendum.

"I am going to do my job," she said, brushing aside speculations that she might step down.
