On the second day of the Fifth World Internet Conference in Wuzhen, Garba Shehu, senior special assistant to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Media and Publicity, was interviewed by a China Daily reporter.
He said as an attendee he was impressed by the event’s organization and was excited by the opportunities brought by the gathering of global leaders and policymakers from all over the world.
“For us, coming from a growing nation in Africa who has traditionally been left behind by Western countries, we are encouraged that China is cooperating in projects in our country and are helping us to develop as a nation,”he said.
