149 rescued migrants being brought to Malta

VALLETTA -- A total of 149 migrants will be brought to Malta, the Armed Forces of Malta said on Tuesday in a statement.

AFM said that they dispatched a patrol vessel earlier on Tuesday to rescue a rubber dinghy in difficulty 60 nautical miles from Malta, wi

th 149 migrants on board.

These migrants are expected to arrive in Malta later on Tuesday night.
