Putin, Trump to meet in Paris

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump are scheduled to have a full-fledged meeting in Paris on Nov 11.

Both plan to attend events to commemorate the centenary of the end of World War I, and hold a bilateral meeting on the sidelines.

The two leaders most recently met in Helsinki in July, where Trump seemed to back Putin's claims that Russia had not tried to affect the outcome of the 2016 presidential election by means that included stealing Democratic National Committee emails.
