The Highlights of the Collections from Mr. Gao Yingshi's Donation, an exhibition running until Nov 30, offers glimpse into the richness of a recent donation made to Tsinghua University Art Museum.

It shows calligraphy and ink-brush paintings by cultural figures living in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and early 20th century, from a collection assembled by Taiwan entrepreneur Gao Yingshi.

Gao also donated more than 100 historic documents such as title deeds and official announcements which reflect the social and economic situations in southern Fujian and Taiwan provinces between the late 18th century and 1937.
