Top 10 spenders on international tourism

The international tourist arrivals reached a record high of 1,323 million last year, 84 million more than the previous year, with a 6.8 percent year-on-year increase, the highest since 2010, according to a report released by the UNWTO at the end of August.

Chinese tourists, spending $257.7 billion on international tourism last year, almost one-fifth of the world's total tourism spending of $1.3 trillion last year, have continued to lead global outbound travel, the report said.
