British businessman Stephen Perry marvels at the speed and dynamism of China's advancement since its reform and opening-up started in 1978.

Perry, who is chairman of the 48 Group Club, started doing business with China in 1972 and has witnessed first-hand its incredible journey from "a very poor country" into the world's second-biggest economy and largest exporter.
