Palestinian killed, 3 wounded in Israeli air raids eastern Rafah

GAZA - One Palestinian killed and three wounded on Thursday in air raids launched by Israeli drones near a checkpoint eastern Rafah province, eyewitness and Gaza Health Ministry said.

Ambulances rushed to the scene and the wounded were transferred to European Gaza Hospital, Ashraf al Qedra, spokesperson of the Health Ministry said in a statement.

A Palestinian security official told Xinhua that Israeli airforce struck the vicinity of checkpoint of Hamas movement in southern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said it struck a Hamas terror cell, which was responsible for launching incendiary kites and balloons into Israel.

While the Palestinian side reported that some young people had launched flamed kites and balloons into Israel.
