The second season of highly rated documentary If National Treasures Could Talk will make a comeback on China Central Television on July 23 (Monday). A total of 25 episodes will feature artifacts kept at museums across the country which are of both historic significance and artistic sophistication.

CCTV began airing the documentary's first season earlier this year, raving good reviews from both professionals in cultural and archaeological fields and the general public. Each episode is only five minutes, which quite attests to people's current preference for short videos that provide fragmented, easily understood information.

Last week, the documentary's production team released trailers and a set of posters depicting some of the artifacts, paired with interesting subtitles that connect the objects with modern life.
