Unique bet between Ibrahimović and Beckham

Swedish forward Zlatan Ibrahimović and England's former captain David Beckham bet on the match between Sweden and England on July 7, 2018. Their "gambling money" had unique regional characteristics.

Ibrahimović posted a photo of Beckham and him playing on the football ground and asked Beckham whether he wants a bet that he will buy Beckman a dinner wherever he wants if England wins, while Beckham has to buy him any furniture he wants from Ikea if Sweden wins.

Beckham replied with a yes, and suggested that he would take Ibrahimović to Ikea to buy anything he wanted for the new mansion in Los Angeles if Sweden wins, but Ibrahimović would need to wear an England shirt and enjoy fish and chips while watching an England game if he loses.

It turns out that Ibrahimović lost, so now he is not only sad about Sweden losing but also has to sit in a crowd of English fans and watch an England game. Some netizens made fun of Ibrahimović by asking him which game he wants to watch and being willing to offer him tickets.

Ibrahimović is not unhappy actually and said "I'm coming, congrats" to Beckham after the match. Beckham was extremely excited and happy in the middle of the game between England and Sweden, and sang "It's coming home" on social media.

Modern soccer originates from the British Isles, so English people see winning the championship as "coming home".
