9th Sino-Russian Culture Fair opens in Heihe, NE China

The ninth Sino-Russian Culture Fair kicked off Thursday in the border city of Heihe, Northeast China's Heilongjiang province. A parade was held the same day, which attracted 19 festooned vehicles, 2,200 actors and tens of thousands of visitors.

Launched in 2010, the event is based in China's Heilongjiang province and Russia's Amurskaya Oblast, focusing on the two border cities of Heihe and Blagoveshchensk.

The event, which concerns cultural exchange and value cultural trade, also aspires to be a special, lucrative and influential cross-border distribution hub for cultural trade.
