5.4-magnitude quake hits southeastern Iran

TEHRAN - An earthquake measuring 5.4 in magnitude shook Kahnooj city in Iran's southeastern Kerman province at 19:16 local time (1446 GMT) on Wednesday, Iran Seismological Center said.

With a depth of 28 km, the earthquake's epicenter was at 27.993 degrees north latitude and 57.838 degrees east longitude.
