BEIJING -- The Olympic flag arrived on Tuesday in Yanqing district in northern Beijing, one of the three locations for Winter Olympics venues in 2022.

The ceremony was held at the Badaling section of the Great Wall on Tuesday morning, in the presence of Jia Zongyang, silver medalist at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics in the freestyle skiing men's aerials, as well as more than 500 onlookers.

"The 2022 Winter Olympics has started its 'Beijing time'," said Han Zirong, Secretary General of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
