Shu Houying, 30, a divorced mother of a 5-year-old daughter, has sold more than 50 tons of sweet potatoes planted in Ziyun Miao and Buyi autonomous county, Anshun, Southwest China's Guizhou province, to households all over China via Taobao and WeChat.

With the income generated from this small business over past three years, she has repaid 100,000 yuan debt and bought a 50 square meter government-subsidized apartment.

Shu is among the earliest people who took advantage of e-commerce to sell local produce. Let us take a look at this amazing woman.
