Paper mill explosion in Taiwan kills at least 4

TAIPEI - An explosion at a paper mill occurred Friday evening in New Taipei City of Taiwan, leaving at least four people dead and another 15 injured as of 11:00 pm.

The explosion has set the factory on fire and shattered many windows of buildings within 100 meters from the factory. Some 19 victims had been taken to a nearby hospital and four of them had no vital signs, local firefighters said.

By 10:30 pm, firefighters have controlled the fire. Investigations will be carried out after the fire was extinguished.
